      Speech and language disorders are overwhelmingly common. Many children and adults struggle to be understood and have difficulties expressing their wants and needs effectively. Communication difficulties can lead to frustration, sadness, and at times, feelings of isolation.  In home speech therapy helps to provide a more comfortable experience for the client receiving the therapy.

      At Silver State Speech Therapy, it is our mission to ensure that you do not have to face these challenges alone. A certified and credentialed Speech and Language Pathologist is trained to provide a comprehensive evaluation and accompanying in home speech therapy treatment plan that will address a variety of concerns.

      • Meet Our Founder

        Chelsa Rostagni, M.S., CCC-SLP

        Chelsa Rostagni graduated with distinction from the University of Nevada, Reno earning a B.S. in Speech Pathology and Audiology and a minor in Developmental Disabilities. She then went on to earn her M.S. in Speech and Language Pathology from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2011. Chelsa has worked full-time in private practice since completing her degree and has gained additional clinical experience in skilled nursing facilities through per diem work.

        Since obtaining her license from the State of Nevada Board of Examiners for Audiology and Speech Pathology, Chelsa has gained extensive clinical experience in treating a variety of different disorders, including Autism, Down syndrome, Aphasia, Parkinson’s disease, Dysphagia, Stuttering, and Apraxia, in addition to Phonological, Articulation, and Language disorders. She has worked with clients of all ages, ranging from children under the age of one to adults in their nineties, and has also worked in Early Intervention, providing speech therapy in client’s homes or in the child’s most natural environment.

        Chelsa is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and serves as Vice President on the Board of Directors for the Nevada Speech-Language Hearing Association. She feels strongly about the benefits of community outreach and education regarding speech and language disorders and believes passionately that everybody deserves to have a voice. When she is not treating clients, Chelsa enjoys spending time with her husband and family, visiting her home state of Alaska, traveling, and spending as much time as possible outdoors enjoying activities such as camping, biking, and hiking.
